SENTENCES STRUCTURE
A sentence is a group of words that makes complete sense. Sentences must contain a subject and a verb in order to be a complete sentences. There are 4 types of English Sentences Structure, that is :
1.      Simple Sentences
Basically a simple sentence normally contains one statement (known as a main clause). It means the sentence contains a subject and a verb.
For example :
ü  He is diligent
ü  My sister read the magazine

2.      Compound Sentences
While compound sentences different with simple sentences. A compound sentence contains two or more clauses, which are normally joined by a conjunction such as and, or, but, for.
For example :
ü  Vina and Fika wake up at 5:00 am, and they go to school at 6:30 am.
ü  He didn’t come last night, for he fell asleep.

3.      Complex Sentences
A complex sentence is also made up of clauses. They contain a main clause and one or more subordinate clauses.
For example :
ü  You should brush your teeth before you go to bed.
ü  Her father died when she was very young.

4.      Compound-complex Sentences
Compound-complex sentences combination compound sentences from complex sentences.
For example :
ü  I need a new shoes, so mom said that she would buy one.
ü I bought a new handphone which she recommended for me and I like it.
